Welcome to the historic Clive Hotel!

The Clive Hotel is located half way between Napier and Hastings on State Highway 51.

Local history documents the pubs earliest origins from 1867, the current building constructed after the 1931 earthquake. It has been a meeting point for locals and visitors ever since.

In both our Sports and Lounge Bars you will find the walls adorned with images and stories of the past. Out front, is our large all weather deck and in the garden out back you’ll find seating to enjoy the Hawkes Bay sunshine.

Grab a beer and play some pool in the Sports Bar & perhaps place at bet at our TAB. With 17 screens, you won’t miss the game no matter where you sit. You could also try your luck on one of our 18 gaming machines. 

Enjoy one of our delicious pizzas or order from our bar snacks menu.  Our full dinner menu is available from 5pm Wednesdays, from midday Thursday thru Sunday.

Families are welcome and there is a fully fenced outdoor area with trampoline and free arcade games to entertain the kids.
